After reintegration the youth are encoraged to join KOBWA (koinonia Old Beneficiaries Welfare Association) which provides a platform for them to actively participate in local development through entrepreneurial activities.
With the objective of disseminating information and creating civic awareness, Koinonia in 2014 established two community radios; Mtaani Radio situated in Kivuli with Dagoretti aas its catchment area, and Domus Mariae FM which is set up in Domus Mariae School with the outskirts of Ngong Town as its catchment area. The two radio stations are very imporant in developing close links between the projects and the local community. News from Africa , started in 1995 as the first online news bulletin in Africa, keeps the links with the whole continent.
